Machine wash on the gentle or delicate cycle at 30°C / cold. Warm water relaxes the cotton and dulls pigment over time.

ALGN pieces are built from weighted cotton and made to be worn on repeat. Cared for properly, they hold their shape, color and hand feel for years, one gentle wash at a time.
The Short Version
- Machine wash cold, gentle cycle
- Wash inside out with like colors
- Do not tumble dry, air dry flat

Never tumble dry
Heat is the fastest way to shrink weighted cotton and crack lettering. Air dry only, lay flat in shade, away from direct sun and radiators.
Wash inside out
Turn every piece inside out before washing to protect the ALGN lettering, embroidery and surface of the fleece.
Wash with like colors
Wash deep shades, burgundy, royal, red, chocolate, separately for the first two washes. Keep pinks and greens away from ivory and cream.
No bleach, no fabric softener
Bleach strips color and softener coats the fibers, flattening the hand feel of the cotton. A mild, color-safe detergent is all you need.
Cool iron, never on the lettering
If pressing is needed, use a cool iron on the reverse side. Never iron directly over print or embroidery, and skip the steamer on graphics.
Wash less, wear more
Sets rarely need washing after a single wear. Air them out between wears, it keeps the shape, color and fabric weight far longer.
Store folded, not hung
Fold knitwear and sweat sets rather than hanging them. Hangers stretch the shoulders and drop the hem out of shape.
